Steve SilviaChecking in from northern CA. Question: in the article title: "one essential security setting ..." I'm not sure what resulted, when I clicked on "erase". Being a non-techie, I have no idea what I did. I know that the Find My Device help said that erase "permanently deletes all data on your device ...." but I don't know what that means. Can you explain it in a simple way? Thanks. Steve Silvia

Opt-out of online targeted advertising networks and companies
If you surf the web, you’re going to see ads. That’s a given, and there’s not much you can do about it. What you can change is whether or not you see targeted ads. These are the ads that follow you from site to site and seem to know what you’ve been looking at online. Watch now to find out how!
