Four Logan Township volunteer firefighters are facing criminal charges for allegedly calling in false alarms at five different locations. Logan Township Police say 24-year-old Dustin Beckwith, 19-year-old Aric Beckwith, 23-year-old Daniel Johnson and 29-year-old Eric Perino, all of Altoona, are facing multiple felony and misdemeanor charges. They were all probationary firefighters and had been had been working at the Logan Township United Fire Department for less than 90 days at the time of the incidents, which took place between January and March. The department says the four men have been suspended pending the outcome of their court cases.
