Television news report say that police tried to stop 31 year old Gino Saullo Jr for running a red light on Monday. Police then reported that a high speed chase ensued, which led police onto union avenue going towards 6th avenue. Saullo reportedly reached a speed of more than 80 mph before he was hit by a jeep at the intersection of union and 6th avenues, near our studio location. After the crash, Saullo reportedly jumped out of his vehicle and ran from police, leaving two young children in the jeep. One of them had to be taken to the hospital with injuries. On top of all that, police reported that the jeep Saullo was driving was not is, and he did not have permission to use it. Saullo is facing several charges.
