The Green Party says it will ask a Pennsylvania court to order a state-wide recount of Pennsylvania’s presidential election results, but it’s unclear if the courts will have the authority to do so.
President-elect Donald Trump edged Hillary Clinton by about 70,000 votes, or 1% in Pennsylvania.
Democratic Secretary of State Pedro Cortez says there is no evidence of voting irregularities or cyber-attacks on Pennsylvania’s electronic voting machines. He also says he’s unaware of the court’s having authority to order a state-wide recount.
