Work will begin next week on another bridge replacement project in Blair County.

Next Thursday, crews will begin the process of replacing the Route 22 Brush Run Bridge in Frankstown Township, which is in the area of intersection of south Scotch Valley Road and Route 22.

PennDOT Spokesperson Terra Henry says that they’ll be replacing the existing bridge, doing some minor roadwork, a sewer line relocation, as well as guide rail upgrades in that area.

Henry said the $2.2 million project will be completed by October.
