Local Grocery Store Cash Grab Investigated

City police are looking for two people involved in a cash grab at a local store earlier this week.

The theft occurred a little before 10:30 Tuesday night at the Chestnut Avenue Martins Store. Police say a man reached into a cash register drawer when no one was looking and stole an undisclosed amount of money. He then fled on foot.

The suspect is described as a thin white male, 5'-10", about 20 years old with brown hair and a thin beard. He was accompanied by a white male teenager described as thin and about 5'-7" tall.
