Railroad Museum Operator Sued By Area Baseball Teams

The new man in charge of the Altoona Railroaders Museum is facing a court battle with two area baseball organizations.
The Altoona Mirror is reporting that the Altoona Curve and State College Spikes are working through the court system to try to recoup $100,000 from Larry Salone.

Attorney’s for the baseball franchises say Salone, operator of the rail museum, owes the clubs for advertising and promotions for his Quaker Steak & Lube restaurant franchise in State College.

Salone included those debts in a recent petition asking for protection under Chapter 11 bankruptcy but the teams claim those debts don't fall within the bankruptcy because Salone signed the ad contracts as an individual.
