Tyrone Man Facing Charges After Campground Attack

A Tyrone man is facing charges after an incident at a Huntingdon County Campground over the weekend.

According to state police at Huntingdon, late Saturday afternoon 24-year-old Brandon Keirs started pushed, shoved and struck a 47-year-old Tyrone woman at the Susquehannock Campground in Penn Township. Keirs also threatened the woman with a splitting maul.

Keirs was arraigned on charges of making terroristic threats, harassment and disorderly conduct. He was placed in Huntingdon County jail in lieu of bail.
