City police respond to an early morning domestic dispute call and find drugs at the scene.

A little before 4:00 this morning Altoona police were called out to 100 Howard Avenue, 1st floor, for a domestic dispute in progress. When they arrived at the scene officers were told by the man living there that it had been an argument and the woman had left the residence. While searching the home for the woman 10-marijuana plants were discovered along with a scale and a plastic baggie of dried marijuana. All the items were in plain view in the basement of the home.

Charges of possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia are pending against the man and woman whose names have not been released at this point.
